Epson Stylus SX115 Review

The Epson SX115 is a multifunctional device that offers the benefits of an inkjet printer, a scanner and photocopier in one compact and affordable unit. The first thing you notice is that the Epson SX115 ink cartridges are four individual printer ink cartridges which is great because it means you only have to change the colour which is empty. Epson ink cartridges are notoriously expensive, but the ones which the SX115 uses aren’t too bad, they can be purchased individually or in a money saving multi-pack. In terms of performance the SX115 is no heavy weight but it does perform well when you consider its price tag. Print quality, whether it text, graphics or even high resolution photographs is really good and it can print of a variety of different paper media including photo paper. The scanner works well, it quick and picks u even the smallest details, it especially good for scanning old photos to be retorted using photo editing software. The copying function of the SX115 is particularly good because it doesn’t require a PC and it not the only thing. The SX115 has a built in card reader and PictBridge port which enables printing directly from memory cards or digital cameras. The SX115 is compatible with all the latest operating systems and is dead easy to install and setup and is a great solution to those looking for a versatile machine for general purpose printing.
